VIRTUALGUARD

A cost-effective, completely secure way of safeguarding your premises. Remote eyes from the 24 hour national support centre, without posting an officer on the gate.

HOW IT WORKS

The control room sees it. Then someone moves.

The same loop, on every site. Pick a step, or let it run.

04 RESPOND

THE DIFFERENCE

An officer watches a gate. This watches the site.

On the gate

  • One person, one place
  • Breaks, fatigue, a change of shift
  • A driving patrol when the van arrives

Virtual Guard

  • Every camera, at the same time
  • Awake for the whole night
  • A virtual patrol every 15 minutes
  • A voice on site, then the nearest team

THE PATROL

15MIN

The ring is sped up so you can see the rhythm. On a site, the patrol is every 15 minutes.

Every 15 minutes.

Virtual Guard pairs with Copeland’s CCTV division. A virtual patrol from the 24 hour national support centre stands in for an on-site mobile patrol, and it can be done more often. Every 15 minutes.

Installing active cameras costs less than hiring traditional security officers, and the picture does not take a break. It watches a property, a construction site, or a business the whole time.

WHERE IT FITS

Three kinds of site. One desk.

Construction

Sites that change every week. Cameras where a static post cannot stay.

Yards and gates

The gate, the yard and the units, watched together rather than one at a time.

Premises

A property or a business, watched from the national support centre.

A BRIEF, NOT A BROCHURE

Tell the desk what the site is.

Three answers go into the callback. Change them and the note updates. Then add your name.

How urgent is this?

QUESTIONS

Before you call.

How often is a site patrolled?

A virtual patrol from the 24 hour national support centre, every 15 minutes. More often than a driving patrol.

What happens if the alarm is real?

The control room raises a voice warning on site, sends the nearest mobile team, and calls the emergency services if they are needed.

Does it replace a guard?

It is a cost-effective alternative to an on-site mobile patrol. The cameras do not sleep, tire, or stop. Some sites still want a person as well.

Who is watching?

Copeland’s in-house control room at the National Support Centre in Bromborough. The feeds can be viewed at the same time.
